Went to Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale to try to see Messi & Friends (Inter Miami) play Nashville back in April. Great game that Inter Miami won 3-1, with Messi scoring twice, and Sergio Busquets getting on the score sheet as well, en route to the Supporter’s Shield for 2024.
Stopped by Delta’s Sky Club at Fort Lauderdale International on the way out. It’s a new-ish lounge, built in 2021. Feels very airy with plenty of seats and food and drink. We accessed it via an American Express Delta Reserve card ($650 annual fee, with 100k bonus SkyMiles after some amount of spend in a few months when we signed up – seems to be less generous now). We weren’t there too long, but enjoyed the relaxing seating area, overlooking an already-nice giant floor to ceiling window. FLL seems a bit small in a very nice way. Didn’t seem too crowded when we were there. Will be flying into MIA later in the year to depart for a cruise, and I assume it’s much more busy. Will try to leave a short review.
